What did DK Shivukmar say on the issue of caste census?
On the issue of caste census, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka said, “We have gathered information from different sections of the society. Some of them feel that this is a 10 -year -old survey. Although we have spent a lot of money on it, but basically we agree with the report.”
He said, “Whether the report may be, but we are only concerned about the numbers. We had to take a final decision on it on 22 June 2025. Before that my party’s high command called us. They have sought details. They have consulted the media leaders and they have instructed us.”
