He made this comment in the context of the threat given by US President Donald Trump on Sunday (March 30), in which Trump said that if Iran does not compromise with Washington on his nuclear program, he would bomb the atomic sites of Iran.

Araghchi spoke about Iran’s dialogue and cooperation policy with the agency. He said that as long as there are threats against Iran, his country will take necessary steps to protect its nuclear program. He also informed Gursi about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and latest events related to diplomatic discussion.
IAEA chief said that he would discuss with other parties to create a good environment to solve existing problems. During this time, GRSI also expressed his desire to travel to Iran, on which the Iranian Foreign Minister agreed.
Donald Trump threatened for military attack on Iran
In an interview to NBC News on Sunday, Trump said that if Iran refuses to negotiate its nuclear program, he will do ‘tremendous military attacks’ on it. He said, “If they do not compromise, then there will be such bombing that he would never have seen.” Trump also claimed that American and Iranian officials were “negotiating”, although he did not give any further information about it.
Donald Trump’s remarks came after the letter, about which Trump said that he sent a letter to Iranian leaders through the United Arab Emirates in early March, which proposed direct talks on Tehran’s nuclear activities. In response, Tehran rejected the proposal of direct talks, but kept the possibility of indirect talks open.
