Iran has given a big and clear message to America. A huge mural or poster has been installed on Englabh Square in the heart of Tehran, which is warning America that if it launches a military attack on Iran, the response will be very terrible.
What is shown in the mural?

- This is a large billboard, showing an American aircraft carrier seen from above.
- Fighter planes are seen burning and exploding on the deck of the carrier.
- Dead bodies are scattered on the deck and streaks of blood are falling into the sea. These lines are making a shape like the red and white stripes of the American flag.
- Along with this, it is written big in one corner: ‘If you sow the wind, you shall reap the whirlwind’ i.e. if you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind. This message is in both English and Persian languages.
Why has the Iranian government installed this mural?
This warning has come amid increasing tension with America. Recently, US President Donald Trump said that a very large American fleet is heading towards the Middle East, which includes the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and several warships. Trump accused Iran of killing peaceful protesters and planning mass executions. He said that if this happens, any military action will be bigger than the attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites last June.

Major protests have been taking place in Iran since the end of December 2025. These demonstrations, which started with the fall of the Iranian currency Rial, spread across the country. The Iranian government repressed them severely, in which thousands of people were killed and more than 40 thousand were arrested. There was also a two-week internet blackout. The commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said that his forces are ‘more prepared than ever and the finger is on the trigger.’
