Iran Israel News: In the Middle East, tension between Iran and Israel has reached its peak for the last few days. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday (16 June 2025) that the Parliament of Iran is preparing a bill to get out of the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty (NPT). However, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said that we are not in favor of making nuclear weapons.
According to Iran’s official media, no decision has been taken by Iran’s Parliament about getting out of NPT, while an MP said that the proposal is in the initial stage of the legal process.
Last week, Iran said that Tehran is on the verge of making atomic bomb. Iran has always said that its nuclear program is peaceful. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced last week that Tehran was violating its NPT obligations.
