Israel Iran Conflict: A former national security head of Iran’s top military officer, guard corps and airforce has been killed in the Israeli air strike. Israel has taken action on Iran under Operation Rising Lion. Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei has appointed new military commanders today after the death of key security officers in the Israeli airstrikes on Tehran.
Khamenei appointed Abdolheem Mausvi to the new Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Mohammad Pakpur to lead the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to lead the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Ali Shadmani to lead Khamat Al-Anbia Central Headquarters. Prior to these appointments, Mousawi Irani was leading the regular army, Pakpour was the head of the Ground Force of IRGC and Shadmani was a deputy coordinator in Khatma al-Ambia.
Iran’s top commander killed in Israeli air strike
In the early hours of Friday, the aerial attacks on Tehran and other Iranian cities by Israel, Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Iran’s Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander Hussain Salute and the head of Shatam al-Ambia Central Headquarters were killed. According to reports, six Iranian nuclear scientists were also killed in these attacks, including Mohammad-Mehadi Tahranchi and Frededun Abbasi. Also, there are reports of casualties of many citizens.
Israeli Defense Forces confirmed
Khamenei, in a statement on Friday, strongly condemned these attacks, saying that it is a serious crime against Iran and Israel will have to bear its ‘severe punishment’. Earlier, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that it killed three top Iran military officers in action.
The IDF wrote on X, “We can confirm that the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, IRGC Commander and Head of Iran’s Emergency Command were killed in these attacks.” All three were guilty of genocide and their hands were soaked with international blood. Without them, the world is a better place. The long -running tension between Iran and Israel is now seen reaching the peak of the confrontation, which has deepened the possibility of war in the entire region. The Iranian officials have not yet officially confirmed the death of all senior commanders, but the state media has confirmed the death of IRGC chief Hussain salute.
What did Israeli PM say?
Iran’s government broadcaster IRIB said that the voices of loud explosions were heard in Tehran and other cities in the early hours of Friday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the military campaign in a television address and described it as necessary to push it back. He said, this campaign will continue until the danger of our termination from Iran is completely abolished. Israeli Defense Minister Katj called the attack a reaction to pre-furrow and announced a special emergency across the country.
