Iran-as nuclear talks: Iran has given a clear message to the US that until it is assured that there will be no military action on it during the nuclear conversation, no direct interaction is possible. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while making a statement on Monday (June 30, 2025), said, “We are not ready to communicate directly with the US until it is clear that Iran will not have to face any attack during the conversation process.”
It is clear from this strict attitude of Araghchi that Iran is no longer ready to pursue the conversation without security assurance. He said that earlier Iran had opened the doors for talks, but America’s policies and attacks weakened the foundation of trust. The statement of Iran’s Foreign Minister has come at a time when the international community is eyeing to restore the nuclear deal between the US and Iran, but this strict condition has made the process of negotiation confused.

It will also be interesting to see what reaction America gives on Iran’s statement and whether it can bring Iran to the table of conversation or not.
Shia religious leader of Iran threatens America and Israel
On the previous day, Iran’s well-known Shia religious leader Grand Ayatullah Naser Makram Shiraji made a strong statement against US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He described both the leaders as the enemy of Allah and issued a fatwa against them.
Ayatollah Shiraji said in his statement that whichever person or government threatens Islamic leaders is called ‘Mohrab’. That is, a person who fights against Allah. According to Iran’s law, ‘Mohreb’ can be punished severely, such as hanging, cutting or out of the country.
He appealed to Muslims around the world to unite and oppose leaders like Trump and Netanyahu who threaten the Islamic Republic and its leaders. Ayatollah also said that if a Muslim suffers trouble or loss in this struggle, then he will be considered a warrior in the path of Allah and he will get reward in heaven.
