Iran has suffered another big blow. Iran’s new Defense Minister Seyed Majid has now been killed in the Al-Reza attack. Israeli media has claimed this.
He had assumed the post of Defense Minister of Iran only two days ago, just 48 hours after which the news of his death came to light. Iran’s top leadership including its supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has been eliminated. The attacks by Israel and the US, which started on February 28, continue for the fourth day on Tuesday (March 3).
Let us tell you that earlier in the US-Israeli attack, Iran had killed its supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Apart from this, Iranian Army Chief of Staff Abdul Rahim Mousavi and Defense Minister General Aziz Nasirzadeh were killed. After the death of Nasirzadeh, Syed Majid Al-Reza was made the new Defense Minister of the country, but within 48 hours he too was killed in the war.
Syed Majid was counted among the top military officers of Iran. Before becoming the Defense Minister, he was holding the post of Brigadier General in the Iranian Army. He was especially considered an expert in military administration and logistics. He had also been the chairman of Iran’s Armed Forces Social Security Organization (SATA). It is one of the influential organizations of Iran, which handles the economic interests of the army along with the security of their families.
