IRCTC has started the recruitment process for a total of 64 posts of Hospitality Monitor. The special thing is that there will not be any written examination for selection on these posts, rather the candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in interview. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website irctc.com and attend the interview on the scheduled dates.
Only those candidates who have done a course related to hospitality or hotel management can apply for these posts. Like B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration, B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science, MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management or BBA or MBA in Culinary Arts. Along with this, it is necessary to have at least two years of experience in this field. Talking about age, the maximum age of general category candidates has been kept at 28 years. This limit has been fixed at 31 years for OBC category, 33 years for SC/ST and 38 years for disabled candidates. Age will be calculated as on 1 October 2025.
The selection process is also very simple. Candidates will attend walk-in interview only. Documents will be scrutinized during the interview and at the end there will be a medical fitness test. After this, eligible candidates will be given appointment. That is, there is neither written examination nor any long process in this recruitment, you will get job only on the basis of qualification, experience and interview.

After selection, the candidates will be given a salary of Rs 30 thousand per month. Apart from this, they will also get the benefit of other allowances from IRCTC. This salary is quite attractive for youth who are looking for a stable and respectable career in the hospitality sector.
Interviews will be held here
Interviews will be conducted in different cities of the country. Candidates can attend the interview in their nearest city. The interview will start from 8th November 2025 in Trivandrum. After this, the interview will be held on 12th November in Bengaluru, on 15th November in Chennai and on 18th November in Thuvakudi, Tamil Nadu. Candidates will have to carry all their necessary documents like educational certificate, identity card, passport size photograph and experience certificate on the day of interview.
