The fight between India and Pakistani cricketers in the field is not new. Abhishek Sharma and Haris Rauf’s argument, is currently in discussion. But before this, Gautam Gambhir-Shahid Afridi, Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar also came face to face. Now Irfan Pathan has taunted Shahid Afridi over the controversy over India-Pakistan match.
Irfan Pathan also reacted to Abhishek Sharma’s debate with Pakistani players on his YouTube channel and then to his social media posts. He said, “A lot of aggression was seen in the Indo-Pak match. Even Abhishek Sharma had to say in a post-match presentation that Pakistani players were talking about what they should not have been said. When Abhishek and Gill posted on social media, their message was clean, ‘You keep winning, we will continue to win.”
Shahid Afridi warns
Without naming Shahid Afridi, Irfan Pathan said that some former Pakistan cricketers try to remain in the headlines by taking the name of Indian players. He said, “Some former players do not like it. They talk in the show in the media and earn money from that. I am not taunting anyone, I am happy that someone is having a stomach in my name.”
Giving another spicy statement, he said, “If someone wants to say something, then I come in front and say. I have dismissed such players 10-20 times and have the power to get out even further. If they cannot stand on the field, then how will you be able to stand outside the field. Ashwin had said a very good thing on his YouTube channel. It will definitely be face to face and that person will not be able to stand.”
