Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma Test Retirement: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, veteran players of Indian Test cricket, suddenly surprised everyone by taking retirement from Test cricket. After retiring from the test of these two players, there was a question in everyone’s mind that in the pressure of someone, these players have decided to retire or the reason is something else. It was also being speculated that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) could also be the reason behind this, but BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has cleared all things.
What did BCCI say in cleanliness?
Speaking to ANI, Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Rajiv Shukla said that I want to make one thing clear for everyone at once that we too miss Virat and Rohit, but they took this decision themselves. Rajiv Shukla further said that BCCI is a policy that she never tells a player when to retire and from which format to retire. All this depends on the player, this is their personal decision, they also take retirement by themselves.
‘We also miss them’
Rajiv Shukla completed his talk and said that we also miss him. We consider him a great batsman and the good thing is that he is present to play ODI. Please tell that Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket on 7 May. Rohit’s retirement speculation was already being put up, but on May 12, five days later, Virat Kohli also announced his retirement from Test cricket.
