ISI agent arrested from Pokhran, Rajasthan, was sending army information to Pakistan in greed of money

The Intelligence Wing of Rajasthan Police has achieved a major success in Pokhran area of ​​Jaisalmer, the border district of Pakistan. Police have arrested a local youth on charges of spying for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. The accused has been found involved in sending confidential information of strategic importance related to the Indian Army across the border and in anti-national activities.

Disclosing the matter, Additional Director General of Police Intelligence Prafulla Kumar said that the activities of Pakistani intelligence agencies in the state are being continuously monitored. Meanwhile, Intelligence received information that the activities of Jhabararam son of Bhana Ram (28 years), resident of Nedan village under Sankara police station of Pokaran, are suspicious. Technical investigation revealed that the accused was in constant touch with Pakistani handlers through social media.

Accused Jhabararam trapped in ISI’s trap

Shocking revelations have emerged during interrogation and technical testing of the mobile. Accused Jhabararam was lured by Pakistani agencies with honeytrap and money. Due to this greed, he was sharing sensitive information related to the Indian Army. Not only this, he got WhatsApp activated by giving the OTP of the SIM card issued in his name to Pak handlers, which was being used to carry out anti-national activities.

ADG Kumar said that after the suspicion was confirmed, Jhabararam was brought to the Central Interrogation Centre, Jaipur. Here Rajasthan Police, Military Intelligence and other security agencies jointly interrogated him. After the crime was found proven, Rajasthan Intelligence registered a case under the Government Secrets Act 1923 and duly arrested him on Friday evening. The accused will be presented in Jaipur court today.
