The war has been going on between Israel and Gaza for the last 21 months. Due to the continuous Israeli attack, there has been a situation of starvation in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel has made a big announcement on Sunday (July 27, 2025) to deal with the increasing problem of starvation. The Israeli army has announced that it will fight for 10 hours daily in the three densely populated areas of Gaza and will open a safe way to deliver relief materials to the people troubled by the needy and starvation problem. This announcement of Israel means that during these 10 hours, there will be no attack from Israel in those areas.

Israel took steps after international criticisms

Israel has taken this step after the continuous international criticism due to the increasing starvation situation in Gaza. The Israeli Army (IDF) issued an official statement in this regard on Sunday (July 27, 2025). The IDF said in its statement that it will start a strategic ceasefire in Gaza City, Dair Al-Balah and Mavasi. There is a large number of Palestinian population in these three areas, so humanitarian aid will be further enhanced in these areas.

IDF Announced the time of implementing ceasefire in all areas

The Israeli army said in its statement that it will stop its military actions from 10 am to 8 pm every day in Mavasi, Dar al-Balah and Gaza City (from 12:30 to 10:30 pm Indian time). This strategic ceasefire will be applicable from Sunday (July 27, 2025) until further orders come.

IDF said that it is not currently attacking these three areas, but in the last several weeks, the Israeli army had carried out a lot of attacks in these three areas. The Israeli army said in its statement that it will also set safe avenues in these three areas, through which the agencies delivering relief materials will help in providing food items and other assistance.
