Israel-hezbollah conflict: The Israeli army has caused havoc after the ceasefire agreement was broken in Gaza Patti. More than 600 Palestinians have been killed in the last about a week. Despite this, Palestinian citizens showed the encouragement of offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.

Mansoor Shuman, a Palestinian journalist and former resident of Gaza, told Al Jazira that despite the Israeli bombing, many people did not back down from offering prayers in mosques. According to health officials, at least 20 people were killed in the Israeli attacks on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, including most women and children.

Hamas accepted the ceasefire
Seeing the Israeli attacks, Hamas accepted the ceasefire proposal. Hamas took this decision as part of the mediation efforts of Egypt and Qatar, but Israel introduced a separate ceasefire proposal with the US.

Israel’s terms and new proposals
According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the ceasefire is possible only when Hamas puts his arms, deports his leaders from Gaza, handing over Gaza’s security to Israel. Israel also expressed his intention to carry forward the plan for rehabilitation of Palestinians in Gaza, which has been called “voluntary immigration”.

“Red Line” for Palestinians
Senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya said that Gaza’s administration may agree to hand over a group of independent technocrats, but it is unacceptable to disarma. He described it as a “red line”, until Israel maintains possession of Palestine.

Israel will agree to send human aid to Gaza and stop the war for a week.
The release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners is also included in the agreement.

Israel and US new strategy
After the coordination with Israeli’s White House, the Netanyahu government said that the war will not be stopped until Hamas is released. Israel is demanding abandoning power from Hamas, putting up arms and exile of its leaders.

Let us know that on 7 October 2023, Hamas attacked Israel, in which 1,200 people were killed and 251 hostages were caught. In response, Israel launched a fierce attack on Gaza, causing more than 50,000 deaths. Israel has announced that it will continue military action till the release of the remaining hostages of Hamas and control over Gaza. At the same time, Hamas is demanding a permanent ceasefire, exchange of prisoners and the return of the Israeli army from Gaza.
