Israel -ran war: Faizan Ali, a 21 -year -old student of Iran’s ‘Kerman University of Medical Sciences’, never received so much call from family members as many days. Ali, a resident of Srinagar, said that his family members are concerned about his safety amidst Iran-Israel struggle.
Faizan said on the ‘WhatsApp call’, ‘I am in boarding school from class seven and I am not used to talking to my family members daily, but since Israel has attacked Iran, my family has been calling me 10 times a day and asking me.’
Tehran’s university canceled examinations
Ali, a first year student of the medical college, said that his examinations were scheduled to end on Tuesday, but the university has announced the cancellation of examinations and the closure of the university by October.
He said, ‘We have been told that we can go back home. Our university has more than 120 students of Kashmir, but our location is relatively safe. There has been a lot of damage in Tehran.
Recalling the last few days, he said that everything was normal on Thursday night, but the next morning the situation was completely different when they woke up.

He said, ‘There was fear everywhere. We heard the sound of bullets. Students in Tehran are really scared. Since it is the center of the country, the withdrawal is also a challenge, but I have heard that students are being taken to safe places.
The medical student said that he hoped that he will be taken out by Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
Omar Abdullah spoke to External Affairs Minister Jaishankar
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Sunday that he spoke to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar about the students of Union Territory stuck in Iran and was assured that necessary steps would be taken to ensure the safety of all Indian students.
After Israel started the attack, the Indian citizens present in Iran were asked to be vigilant in view of the current situation in the country and to maintain contact with the Indian Embassy in Tehran through social media.
