Israel-france: Just two days before the visit to Israel and Palestinian areas, 27 French MPs and local leaders were told that their visas had been canceled.

The French Consulate in Jerusalem called these MPs for a five -day official visit, but the Israeli Ministry canceled their visa under a special law. This law allows the government to prevent such people from entering the country, which are considered to be a threat to national security.

Those canceled visas by Israel included the National Assembly deputy such as Francois Rafin, Alexis Corbier, Julie Ogen, Communist Deputy Soumya Boruha and Senator Marien Margate. These MPs and officials issued a joint statement, in which they described the move as collective punishment and a big rift in diplomatic relationships.

He requested French President Macron to react and ensure that Israel would change its decision. MPs also said that their political parties have been supporting the Palestinian state for a long time, as Macron recently did. He also said that France can recognize the state of Palestinian at the international summit to be held in June. Earlier this month, Israel had deported two British MPs at Tel Aviv Airport.
