Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made a claim that is causing a stir in the world. He has said that Israel has developed the world’s most dangerous and advanced weapon, which has now been handed over to America. In an interview with American journalist Ben Shapiro last Monday (October 6, 2025), Netanyahu said that Israel provides America with weapons that no other superpower has. “We have developed technologies that are exclusive to us and we share them with the United States.”
Benjamin Netanyahu did not reveal which weapon or defense technology he was talking about, but his statement has sparked discussion among global defense experts. In the interview, Netanyahu expressed concern over Iran’s increasing nuclear capabilities. He claimed that Iran is now making intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) that can target American cities like New York, Washington, Boston and Miami. Netanyahu said, “Iran has now made missiles with a range of 8,000 kilometers.” If they add another 3,000 kilometers they can reach the east coast of America. This is really a big threat.” He said that this capability of Iran can become a challenge not only for the Middle East but also for America’s national security.
Can blackmail any American city
According to Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran can now blackmail any American city. You don’t want to live under the nuclear guns of people who shout slogans of ‘Down with America.’ Benjamin Netanyahu also told in the interview that defense cooperation between Israel and America is stronger than ever. Both the countries are now together developing such offensive and strategic weapons, which no superpower has. He said, “The world’s most advanced weapons have been made by Israel and we have shared them with America. This partnership is not just for security, but to shape the defense technology of the future.
Iran-Israel tension increased once again
This statement of Netanyahu has come at a time when tension between Iran and Israel is already at its peak. Tehran recently claimed successful testing of a new type of hypersonic missiles, which are said to be capable of dodging any defense system. Israel believes that this policy of Iran is a serious threat to regional stability and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). “Netanyahu has said many times that if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, no country in the Middle East will be safe.”
Is the weapon shared with America ‘AI’ based?
According to defense analysts, the “sophisticated weapon” that Netanyahu is talking about could possibly be based on artificial intelligence (AI) and drone networks. Israel is already in the news in the world for its Iron Beam laser defense system and AI-enabled missile defense. There are already joint projects going on between America and Israel like Iron Dome and David’s Sling, which are now turning into next level technology. However, Netanyahu’s statement did not make it clear whether this new weapon is a defense system, a cyber weapon or related to nuclear technology.
