Zohran mamdani ex interst hadeeqa malik: Hadika Malik, a former intern of New York Mayor candidate Joharan Mamdani, has appealed to the Muslim community to call political activism as ‘jihad’ not to fear punishment like arrest, suspension and identity exposed to raise their voice against Israel. This statement has surfaced in a viral video clip by Hadika Malik, which is taken from ‘Islamic Political Activism’ organized by ‘Cuny4Palestine’.

All this is jihad, all this is prayer …
In the video, Hadika says- ‘True Momin knows that all this is not meaningless, all this is jihad, all this is worship.’ He said that Muslims should not care about things like doxing, arrest and suspension. He said in excitement, now the time has come that Muslims say- ‘Okay, do whatever you want to do, I will do my work.’

Target against those who do not participate in the movement
Hadika Malik strongly criticized those who are not raising their voice against the Israeli attacks on Palestine. He said, ‘If you are not considering it as your issue, then there is some disease in you, there is some mess, something that is preventing your system from saying that it is not your responsibility.’

‘Don’t be afraid, everything is for Allah’
Hadika in her message told the Muslims that they should not be afraid of the work done for Allah, whether in Western countries or elsewhere. He said, ‘If you are suspended, if your identity is revealed because it will happen … but when you do something for Allah, he never goes in vain. And the true Momin is not afraid of him.’

Hadika has been an intern in Johran Mamdani’s office
Hadika Malik did an internship at Johran Mamdani’s office in New York State Assembly in summer 2024. There she was involved in the work related to communication, outreach, policy and public service. There is also a picture on her LinkedIn profile in which she is seen taking a selfie smiling with Johran Mamdani.
