ISRO’s Space Applications Center (SAC) has issued a new notification for recruitment to the posts of Technician and Pharmacist. The special thing is that both 10th pass and IIT educated candidates can apply for these posts.
A total of 55 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. These include different technical trades like fitter, electrician, IT mechanic etc. Apart from this, one post has also been created for Pharmacist. The application process will continue till 13 November 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of ISRO www.sac.gov.in.
Now let’s talk about qualifications. For the post of Technician, the candidate must have passed 10th. Also, he should have ITI, NTC or NAC certificate in related trade like Fitter, Electrician, IT or Mechanic from a recognized institute. Whereas, for the post of Pharmacist, it is mandatory for the candidate to have first class diploma in Pharmacy.
Selection will be like this
Candidates will be selected in two stages: written examination and skill test. The written examination will be of 90 minutes, in which 80 objective questions will be asked. There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for every wrong answer. This examination will be according to the syllabus decided by DGT. The candidates who pass the written examination will be called for skill test. The skill test will be in the ratio of approximately 1:5 and will be of qualifying nature only, i.e. its marks will not be added to the final merit list.

This much fee will have to be paid
Now let us know about the application fee. All candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. However, full fees will be refunded to women, SC-ST, disabled and ex-servicemen candidates after the examination. Rest of the candidates will get Rs 400 back.
How to apply
If you want to apply then first go to www.sac.gov.in. Go to the “Careers” section and register there. Fill your basic information and get the registration number. After this, login through the same and fill the application form completely. Upload recent passport size photograph (maximum 1MB size) and signature. Apart from this, also upload all the required documents and deposit the application fee. Finally submit the form and keep its printout safe with you.
