‘It took 3000 years’, Trump said on Gaza peace agreement; Shahbaz crossed the limits of flattery, said this


US President Donald Trump described the signing of the Gaza peace agreement in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh as very special. Trump led the conference along with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Praising his administration, the US President said that I had thought that this would be the most difficult task, but with the help of our excellent team and these countries, it was done.

Trump said of the next steps in Gaza, “Now the reconstruction is beginning. I think we have largely done the hardest work because everything else is put together. We all know how to rebuild and we know how to rebuild better than anyone in the world. The United Nations and others estimate that rebuilding Gaza’s infrastructure and homes will require billions of dollars of investment.” He said that it took 3,000 years to reach this point.

Shahbaz crossed the limits of flattery

After finishing his opening remarks, Trump called Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to speak. As soon as she saw the mike, Shahbaz Sharif once again started flattering Trump. Praising Trump in his speech, he said that he will again nominate the American President for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Giving this reaction, Trump happily said that he had not expected this. Responding to Sharif, Trump said, “Wow… I did not expect this.” Referring to Shehbaz Sharif’s re-nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, he said, “Let’s all go home.”

Trump will receive Egypt’s highest honor

The Egyptian President thanked Turkey, Qatar and the United States and talked about a new beginning in the Middle East. He insisted on a two-state solution based on the recognition of the Palestinian state. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said he would award Trump with Egypt’s highest state honor, the Order of the Nile.

Citizens returning to their homes: Trump

Addressing world leaders, Trump called for the withdrawal of armed forces from Gaza. He said, “We have also agreed to establish a new honest civilian police force to rebuild Gaza and create a secure environment.”

Trump said, “Citizens are returning to their homes. It’s beautiful. I’m just watching it from behind the curtain. I’ve never seen anything like it before. This is the day that people all across the region and around the world were working for. No one thought this could happen.”
