In Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur today, a sixth class student died after falling under suspicious circumstances from the fifth floor of a renowned school. After the death of the student, the school administration got the incident site washed before the police arrived.
After the incident, all the responsible people including the school principal disappeared. Police, administration and education department officials kept searching for the responsible people including the principal for hours to find out the reason for the incident, but they could not find anyone.

It is being discussed that the girl who died was severely scolded by a teacher and being saddened by this, she committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor.

Neerja Modi School, a renowned convent school of Jaipur city, is run by CBSE board in the posh area of Mansarovar. The incident took place on Saturday (November 1) between 1.30 and 2 pm. When the sound of Amyra, a student studying in class six, falling down was heard, the staff ran. The student was completely bleeding due to her head hitting the stairs. The school staff took him to the neighboring hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Why did no one notice?
Student Amyra has fallen from the fifth floor, there is a two and a half feet boundary wall. There is an iron railing of about one foot above. In such a situation it is not possible to fall easily. Still, the question remains that if the student herself climbed the boundary wall and railing, then why did no school staff notice it? How monitoring was being done through CCTV cameras. Why was no attempt made to stop him? Why was the spot washed after the accident?
Why are the responsible people missing?
The question is also why the school principal and other responsible people disappeared after the incident. Why did he not cooperate with the police and education department officials? Why did the police and education department officials keep searching for him? Why did he not cooperate in the investigation?

These schools charge huge fees from parents, but often seem careless about their safety. Education Minister angry on the role of school
Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar has expressed grief and displeasure regarding this incident. He has said that the investigation of the incident has been handed over to the District Education Officer. If any negligence is found in the investigation report or someone is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him. He has also expressed his displeasure over the role of the school in the incident. But the question is, how can a fair and transparent investigation be expected from the District Education Officer who returned disappointed after searching for the Principal Manager and other responsible people for several hours?
