A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Kishangarhbas town of Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan. The body of a person was found in a drum placed on the roof of the house while his wife and 3 children mysteriously went missing.

The deceased has been identified as Hansram alias Suraj, a resident of Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, who lived in a rented house here with his wife and children. The incident, which came out on August 17, has shook the entire area and the police has started investigation by considering it a case of murder.

Neighbors complained when bad smell

On receiving a complaint of bad smell from the house by the neighbors, the police reached the spot and searched the drum kept on the roof, from where the body was recovered. According to PTI, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Singh Nirvana said that the deceased was attacked with a sharp weapon and salt was put on it for quick rot.

The wife and children of the deceased missing

Investigation also revealed that Hansram had been living on rent in Adarsh Colony for the last one and a half months and worked on a brick kiln. After the incident, his wife Sunita, 3 children and the landlord’s son Jitendra suddenly disappeared, causing the case to be tangled.

What came to know in the initial police investigation?

Initial investigation by the police revealed that Hansram was addicted to alcohol and often used to drink alcohol with the landlord’s son Jitendra. From Saturday evening, neither Hansram’s family was shown nor any clue of Jitendra was found. This situation indicates both murder and kidnapping. The police is now investigating call details, nearby CCTV footage and witnesses. At present, the search for missing relatives and Jitendra has been intensified and the body has been sent for postmortem.

People are doing various discussions in the suppressed tongue and deep concern is being expressed about the safety of the family. The police are investigating with several aspects to resolve it and officials believe that the possibility of mutual rivalry or family dispute behind the murder cannot be ruled out. However, until the missing family and Jitendra are detected, this mystery is getting deeper.
