On International Women’s Day, Bhajan Lal Sharma government of Rajasthan has given a big gift to women. CM has announced free travel for women in all buses of Rajasthan Transport Department. Women will get the facility of free travel not only on roadways but also in city buses.
March 8 is not just a date, but a symbol of the continuous struggle and determination of millions of women for their dignity, equality and rights. On this occasion, CM Bhajanlal Sharma has taken this initiative to honor women.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma has congratulated the women of the state on International Women’s Day. He wrote in a post on social media that best wishes on International Women’s Day to all the women who are the embodiment of sacrifice and tolerance. He further wrote that today is a day to celebrate your existence, your struggle and every small and big victory of yours. You are the foundation of any civilized society. Salute to all women power on this occasion.
How long will this facility remain in effect?
After this announcement of CM, women of the state will be able to enjoy free and easy travel in roadways buses without fare. This facility for women will be applicable till 12 midnight on Sunday (8 March). Women will be able to travel for free anywhere in the state throughout the day. However, this facility will be available only in government buses.
This facility has been announced for the passengers traveling within the state borders. After this announcement of the government, the Roadways Department has intensified its preparations. Necessary instructions have been given to the officials to ensure that women do not have to face any kind of trouble. At present, this step of the government is being appreciated by the women of the state. There is an atmosphere of happiness among women due to this decision.
