A sensational incident has come to light in Saravana police station area of Jalore district of Rajasthan, where a son-in-law cut off his mother-in-law’s nose. There was a stir in the area after the incident. The seriously injured woman has been admitted to Mehsana, Gujarat for treatment. The police is investigating the matter.
According to the information, Babulal, resident of KR Bandhakua, has lodged a report at Saravana police station. It was told in the report that his daughter Sarita was married to Sohanlal Vishnoi, a resident of Arwa, about four years ago. Presently Sarita is studying in Jodhpur and her phone was switched off for the last three days. Babulal was going to Saravana police station with his wife Kelly Devi to lodge a complaint in this regard.
Son-in-law forcibly removed her from the car and assaulted her mother-in-law.
According to the report, when he reached Balera Minor in Saravana area, a car stopped his car. Son-in-law Sohanlal and other people in the car forcibly pulled Kelly Devi out of the car and beat her. Meanwhile, Sohanlal cut off the nose of his mother-in-law Kelly Devi with scissors and fled from the spot with the gold jewelery worn in her nose. After the incident, the injured woman has been admitted to Mehsana in Gujarat for treatment.
Case registered against 4 accused including son-in-law
According to preliminary information, it is being told that Sarita was not coming to her in-laws’ house for a long time. Recently, her in-laws got the information about her marriage at another place. The dispute escalated over this matter and the son-in-law committed this crime. Saravana police station has registered a case against four accused including son-in-law and started investigation. Also, the police is busy searching for the accused.
