Jamia Millia Islamia has once again given a big opportunity to the students. This time the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the university has come up with such short-term skill courses which will help in teaching new technology and modern job skills to the students. The special thing is that these courses are completed in a short time and directly open the way for a job or starting one’s own business.
This time a total of 42 courses have been included. These include the most in-demand skills of today. These courses are very beneficial for those students who want to acquire strong skills for their career along with studies.
What are the courses?

- digital marketing
- cyber security
- fashion designing
- Drone Programming and Automation
- Computer Hardware and Networking
- graphic designing
You can register till 30th November
The enrollment process has started and interested students can register till 30th November. For this, Jamia has issued a QR code which can be scanned and online registration can be done directly. Also, students will get complete information related to course and fees on this link of the university website – jmi.ac.in/cie.
The course will be completed in 3 to 6 months
The duration of these courses will be from 3 months to 6 months. 8 courses are of six months duration. The remaining courses will be completed in three months. That means students can choose the time as per their convenience and interest.
11 courses will be online
These include courses like Cyber Security, Data Science, AI & ML, Audio-Video Editing. All the remaining courses will be taught offline, that is, students will get complete practical training by coming to the campus.
Classes will start in January 2026
Although the registration has just started, the classes for the course are likely to start from January 2026. This will also give students time to choose the right course and prepare. The fees for each course is different, but the special thing is that the entire structure has been made keeping in mind the accessibility of the students. The highest fee has been kept at Rs 12,000, which is affordable for learning professional skills in today’s time.
