Amarnath Yatra 2025: 25 pilgrims were injured when four buses of the convoy of Shri Amarnathji, who went to Pahalgam in Jammu on Saturday, were injured when 25 pilgrims were injured when they collided near Chandrakot Langar site in Ramban district.

The accident occurred when the driver of a bus lost control due to the brake failure of a bus involved in the convoy of Amarnath Yatra, causing three other buses involved in the convoy to collide.

25 pilgrims were injured in the accident. All the injured pilgrims were taken to the district hospital Ramban for treatment. The police and health department rescue teams immediately reached the spot.

Senior Pacific officials of Ramban district visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured pilgrims. According to officials, four vehicles collided with each other due to the brake failure, at least 25 passengers were injured. Most of the injuries are minor and all the injured passengers have been discharged after first aid. Officials said that alternative transport arrangements have been made for the pilgrims.

The deputy commissioner of Ramban said that the last vehicle of Pahalgam convoy lost control and the Chanderkot collided with vehicles stranded at the anchor site, which damaged 4 vehicles and 36 passengers were marginally injured. The injured have been immediately shifted to DH Ramban.
