Bar Association told the reason for the decision

According to Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu General Secretary Pradeep Majotra, the Bar Association has taken this step due to security reasons. Jammu and Kashmir is a sensitive state but criminals also come to the High Court. In such a situation, if a criminal comes wearing black pants and white shirt, then people posted here consider him a lawyer, whose criminals can take wrong advantage of and there can be a big untoward.

He said that criminal elements can carry out any criminal activity under the guise of black pants and white shirts and we have taken steps to stop this.

Legal action on not following the order

He told that black pants and white shirt are dressed. We have seen many times that many brokers wear such clothes and get people coming here and take advantage of them. With this ban, such brokers will also be tightened. He said, “If a person does not follow this order, then a legal QIE will be done against him”.
At the same time, Ayush Gupta, who advocated in Jammu Lower Court, says that this is a commendable step. He said that due to being a new lawyer many times, he also finds it difficult to differentiate between the lawyer and the common man when the common man is in a black paint and white shirt.
