Muharram 2025 News: A unique Muharram procession was taken out on the occasion of Muharram, a day before Ashura, remembering the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed at the world famous Dal Lake of Srinagar. Shikara came from different parts of the valley riding on boats. People who mourned Shia joined the 185 -year -old traditional boat Muharram procession in the inner areas of Dal Lake in Srinagar.
