The atmosphere is heating up after the murder of RJD supporter Dularchand Yadav in Mokama. Jansuraj candidate Piyush Priyadarshi and Neeraj Singh, grandson of the deceased, have claimed that this was not a sudden incident but a “pre-planned murder conspiracy” hatched by Anant Singh.
He says that at the time of the incident, Jansuraj candidate was present there campaigning when the firing and murder took place. It is alleged that Anant Singh himself was involved in this attack and the government security personnel accompanying him also behaved like criminals.

While talking to ABP News, Piyush Priyadarshi told that Anant Singh had actually come with the intention of targeting him, but coincidentally Dularchand Yadav’s car came in between. Piyush said, “Anant Singh signaled his security personnel and Dularchand Yadav was made to get off the vehicle. First he was shot in the leg and then crushed by the vehicle.” They allege that during the incident, the government security personnel neither intervened nor tried to save the victim.
Statement of grandson Neeraj Singh
Dularchand Yadav’s grandson Neeraj Singh, who was with him at the time of the incident, told in a statement to ABP News that he had gone out to campaign for RJD, while Jansuraj candidates were also campaigning nearby. According to Neeraj, “As soon as Anant Singh’s car arrived, Jansuraj’s convoy started changing its path. At the same time, the goons sitting in the car ahead of Anant Singh stopped the car after seeing Dadaji.” He further said, “Dadaji told me not to get down from the car. After this, those goons got down and beat Dadaji. Then Anant Singh himself got down with a revolver and shot him in the leg.” Neeraj told that when Dularchand fell, the vehicle ahead of Anant Singh’s convoy crushed him.

Neeraj Singh also said that “Anant Singh had actually come to attack Jansuraj’s candidate, but when Dularchand Dada fell in front of him, he was targeted so that his fear remains in the area.” After some time, when Jansuraj’s convoy returned, he helped in taking the injured Dularchand to the hospital, but by then it was too late. At the same time, when the ABP News team reached the spot, people started raising slogans against Anant Singh. Villagers say that this murder is the result of fear and rivalry in the politics of Mokama.
