Japan’s Defense Minister General Nakatani said that before this deployment, Jasdf’s F-35A fleet was limited to Missa Air Base in northern Japan. However, with the Eastern Sea of Japan, the decision to deploy new upcoming F-35A aircraft in Komatsu has been taken in view of the need to improve the air defense of Japan. He said that this deployment will allow Jasdf to use the aircraft around the Eastern Sea, which is a very large airspace.
What is the dispute between Japan and China?

For the first time in the 1970s, the region was revealed to have oil-gas resources and after that China started claiming its sovereignty on the region.
Why does China claim Senakaku islands?

Now as China is increasing its strength, it is claiming the islands in the South China Sea as well as the Eastern Sea. China has started deploying its coast guards and fighter aircraft in this area. However, Japan also did not back down to protect his islands and America is also supporting him. In such a situation, Japan has deployed American F-35 fighter jet in this area. In the coming days, some more fighter jets Japan will deploy here so that China can be kept under control. At present, there is no direct war situation between Japan and China, but there is a possibility of constant military-general conflict.
