White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt said on Friday (October 28, 2025) that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will nominate President Trump for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. This was announced by the White House after the meeting of Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi and US President Donald Trump in Tokyo on Tuesday (October 28, 2025). In which the leaders of both the countries had serious discussions on economic and security related issues.

After meeting with US President Donald Trump in the capital Tokyo, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi told journalists that in such a short time an atmosphere of peace has been created in the world. President Trump, I myself am very impressed and inspired by you.

Trump’s insistence on Nobel Peace Prize
