Hanif Zaveri revealed that Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan were attracted to each other during the shooting of two unknowns. He said, “They came very close, and I don’t know how they fell in love, but it is 100 percent sure that they were in love.” Hanif Javeri also revealed that Amitabh Bachchan had an accident during the coolie, during which he supported Jaya Bachchan a lot due to which the equation changed and Megastar realized ‘Jaya Bachchan’s development’.
Rekha-Amitabh’s relationship was broken by Jaya Bachchan
At the same time, Jaya was not unknown to Rekha and Amitabh’s affair and then they took a drastic step. Hanif Javeri told that when Amitabh Bachchan was out of the city, Jaya Bachchan called Rekha for lunch at her house. He revealed, “He fed them a lot of food, talked a lot and when the time came to leave, Jaya looked at Rekha and said,” Amitabh belongs to me. He was mine and will always be mine. ” Allegedly, Jaya Bachchan’s gesture left such an impact on Rekha that she decided to retreat personally and commercially.
Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were last seen together on screen, Jaya Bachchan was also in this film. The film failed at the box office but after years, it became a Cult classic.
