Kota is not just a city but a dream flight. This is to say that Devesh Pankaj Bhaiya, who brought All India Rank 8 in JEE Advanced 2025, has achieved this great success with his hard work and dedication. Devesh is originally from Mumbai but was studying in Kota for the last 6 years. He believes that there is no atmosphere of studies like Kota anywhere in the whole country.
Devesh’s father Pankaj Bhaiya is an architect by profession, while mother Pallavi Bhaiya is an interior designer. During his studies, his mother also stayed with him in Kota, which gave him emotional support and he was able to focus completely on studies. Devesh says, “If I do not know the quota, then perhaps I do not get such the right direction and guidance. The environment, teachers and competition here motivate them to study on their own.”

Devesh has secured 97.6 percent marks in 12th standard along with All India Rank 8 in JEE Advanced this year. Earlier, he achieved All India Rank 65 with 99.9976 percent in JEE Main. He also scored 96% marks in 10th. His journey of studies was not limited to books only. He has won the gold medal twice in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) and has so far won the gold medal in more than 500 National, International and State Level Olympiads.
Government of India honored
In the year 2020, the Government of India honored him with the ‘Bal Shakti Award’, which is given to the most talented children of the country. The Prime Minister of the country himself has presented this award to him. Her elder sister Kalash has also studied in Kota and is now doing computer engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Devesh’s dream is now to go out of the country and do something big. He has got admission in the world’s most prestigious educational institution ‘MIT’ (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). But he believes that all this could not be possible without the foundation of Kota and India.
