Jee main 2026 registration: There is good news for millions of students who have made a career in engineering. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to start the registration process of JEE Main 2026 soon. The application process will start from October 2025, although the official date has not been announced yet. As soon as the application link is active, students can fill the online form directly by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can register through the method mentioned below.
This time also the JEE Main Exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will be in January 2026 and the second session in April 2026. The JEE Main exam is conducted in two papers. Paper 1 is for admission in BE and B.Tech, in which nits, IIITs and other government technical institutes are admitted. Candidates who have achieved the top rank in this exam are eligible for JEE Advanced, which opens the way for admission in IIT. Paper 2B is for admission to Arch and B Planning Courses.
Examination in 2 shifts
The exam time will be in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will run from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates can apply only for session 1 (January 2026). If students want to join session 2 (April 2026) later, then they can pay separate fees using the same application number. Students who want to give session 2 only, will be able to apply during the registration of April 2026.

How to register
To register, the candidates should first go to jeemain.nta.nic.in website and click on the JEE Main 2026 Registration Link given on the home page. Go to the new page and register online and login to your account. After this, fill the application form and pay the fees. After submitting, download the page and keep a print copy for the future.
