A big and important news has come out for lakhs of students dreaming of studying engineering. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the candidates appearing in JEE Main 2026. Now those students who had successfully completed the application process can download their admit card from the official website.

JEE Main is one of the most important entrance examinations in the country, through which students get admission in IIT, NIT, IIIT and other prestigious engineering colleges. In such a situation, admit card is the most important document to appear in the examination. No candidate will be allowed entry into the examination center without admit card. When will JEE Main 2026 exam be held?

As per the official exam calendar released by NTA, JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted on January 28 and January 29, 2026. This examination will be conducted in several shifts. The exact exam date, shift time and exam center information of every candidate is given in his/her admit card.

Where to download JEE Main 2026 admit card?

Candidates who are registered for JEE Main 2026 can download their admit card from the official website of NTA. This can be downloaded from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

How to download JEE Main 2026 admit card?

1. First to download admit card jeemain.nta.nic.in Go to website.

2. Click on JEE Main 2026 Admit Card link visible on the homepage.

3. Now enter your application number and password.

4. After filling the required details, click on the submit button.

5. Your admit card will appear on the screen.

6. Download the admit card and take a clear print copy of it.

7. It is advisable to keep at least 2–3 printouts.

What information must be checked in the admit card?

Given on the admit card after downloading it. It is very important to check all the information carefully. These include the name of the candidate, date of birth (as per Aadhar card/marksheet), father’s name, application number and roll number, photo and signature of the candidate, paper chosen, subject, name of the examination centre, city and code, date and time of the examination, category and disability status, state of eligibility, details of the writer and important instructions related to the examination.

What to do if there is a mistake in the admit card?

If any candidate finds any mistake related to name, photograph, signature and date of birth in the admit card or confirmation page, they should immediately contact NTA helpline. NTA helpline timings are from 10 am to 5 pm. The candidate must go to the examination with the pre-downloaded admit card. NTA will correct its record later. No student will be debarred from the examination due to such technical problems. Therefore, there is absolutely no need for students to panic.
