The result of JEE Main 2026 Session-1 is going to be released soon. After the release of the answer key, the eyes of lakhs of students are now fixed on the result date. Students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Let us know how you will be able to see the results.
According to NTA, Session-2 of JEE Main 2026 will be conducted between April 2 and April 9. Students who did not get the expected score in Session-1 will have a chance to improve their performance in Session-2.
JEE Main Session-1 examination was held from 21 to 25 January and 28-29 January. Strict security arrangements were made to make the examination process completely safe and smooth. Face authentication and Aadhaar based biometric checks were done to confirm the identity of the candidates at the examination centres, so that there is no problem in the verification process and transparency is maintained.
First of all, it is important to understand that the rank in JEE Main is not directly determined by the raw score. The reason for this is that the examination is held over several days and in different shifts. The paper of each shift can be easy or difficult. To equalize this difference, NTA adopts normalization process. Only after this normalization the percentile score is decided and on the basis of that All India rank is arrived out.
