If you had dreamed of doing BTech after 12th, but due to some reason you could not take JEE Main or CUET-UG exam, then you still have a chance. A large number of seats have remained vacant in engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh this year. To fill them, arrangements are being made to enroll without JEE and CUET.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) handles the responsibility of admission in most engineering colleges in the state. This time the university has already done five rounds of counseling. Through these rounds, about thirty -eight thousand seats were filled, while in the sixth round, four thousand students registered. Despite this, about seventy thousand seats remained vacant. The surprising thing is that about nineteen hundred of these seats are also vacant in government engineering colleges.

Special counseling
After such a large number of seats remain vacant, the university has now released a special counseling program to fill them. There will be two rounds in this special counseling. The special thing is that in this process, not only JEE and CUET scores, but also will be given admission on the basis of 12th grade marks. That is, students who had not given any entrance examination till now, they can also apply.

The final date for registration and fee depositing for the first round has been fixed on August 28. After this, students will be able to choose colleges and courses of their choice by 31 August. The allocation of seats will be done on 2 September. The second round will start immediately after this, in which registration and fees will have to be deposited on September 7 and 8. This will be followed by Choice filling till 10 September and seat allotment will be done on 11 September.

Relief news for them

This decision is the news of relief for thousands of students who could not attend the national level entrance examinations for some reason. It is often the case that many students prepare for entrance test but for some reason they miss the exam or they are unable to get a better score. In such a situation, his dream of BTech remains incomplete. But this time the university has given a chance to those students by opening the way of admission on the basis of 12th marks.
