There is big news for the students of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the complete schedule of board examinations of 2026. According to the released datesheet, the written examinations of class 10th and 12th will start from 3 February 2026. Both the examinations will be conducted in different shifts. Matriculation exams will be held in the first shift from 9:45 am to 1 pm, while Inter exams will be held in the second shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
JAC said that Class 10 examinations will be held from February 3 to February 17, 2026, while Class 12 examinations will be held from February 3 to February 23, 2026. With the release of the examination schedule, students have intensified their preparations. The board has also announced the date of admit card. 10th admit card can be downloaded from 16 January 2026 and 12th admit card can be downloaded from 17 January 2026.
When will the exam be held?
As per the exam schedule, Class 10 will start with vocational subjects paper on February 3. Hindi exam will be held on 4th February, Commerce and Sanskrit exam will be held on 5th February and Urdu, Bengali and Oriya exam will be held on 6th February. Social Science exam will be taken on 7th February and Science exam will be taken on 8th February. After this, English paper will be held on 9th February and Music paper will be held on 10th February. Mathematics examination will be held on 11th February and regional languages examination will be held on 13th and 14th February. The examination of Sanskrit is scheduled on 16 February and the examination of Arabic, Persian, Santhali, Mundari and Oraon languages is scheduled on 17 February. Hindi ‘A’ and English ‘A’ exam will be held on 18th February, Core Language exam will be held on 20th February and Hindi ‘B’ and Mother tongue exam will be held on 23rd February.
Class 12 examinations will also start on February 3 with vocational subjects. Economics and Anthropology exams will be held on 4th February and Mathematics, Statistics, Business Studies and Accounting exams will be held on 5th February. Physics exams will be held on 6th February and Biology, Business Studies and Sociology exams will be held on 9th February. Geology, Business Maths and Geography papers will be held on 10th February and Entrepreneurship and Home Science papers will be held on 11th February. There will be examination for Philosophy and Chemistry on 13th February, History on 14th February, Political Science on 16th February and Psychology and Computer Science on 17th February. Compulsory core language will be held on 18th February, Music on 20th February, Elective language on 21st February, Additional Language on 22nd February and final exam of Hindi-A and English-A on 23rd February.
