Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Champai Soren has been arrested on the morning of Sunday (24 August). He himself has posted this information on the social media forum X.
He alleged that this step has been taken to prevent them from raising the voice of tribal and indigenous farmers of Nagadi. Champai Soren was going to attend the program organized to save the land of farmers there today.
Champai Soren accused
Soren wrote on social media, “The Jharkhand government has arrested me from this morning to stop the voice of the tribal/native farmers of Nagdi.” He said that this action is part of the oppressive policy of the government.

BJP also attacked
The BJP unit of the state has also surrounded the government. The party posted, “This thugsman government imposed a ban on participating in the program organized to protect the agricultural land of tribals and indigenous people of Jharkhand. It is a straightforward dictatorship and reflects the oppressive mentality.”

Dispute on farmers’ land
Soren announced on Saturday (August 23) that he would go to Nagdi on August 24 and fight to save the fertile land of farmers. He had said that there is no opposition to the hospital, but a smart city or other barren land may be used for RIMS-2.
He alleged that the pattern of the government is clear-efforts are being made to suppress those who raise the voice of the tribal society through fake cases or encounters.
