There is good news for the youth of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Home Guard, Ranchi has announced bumper recruitment to the posts of Home Guard for rural and urban areas. Under this recruitment, qualified candidates will be selected for a total of 1614 posts. Out of this, 1276 posts have been set for rural areas and 338 posts have been set for urban areas.
The recruitment process will start from 15 June 2025 and the last date of application has been kept on 30 June 2025. Interested candidates official website jhpolice.gov.in You can apply online.
Both male and female candidates will get a chance in this recruitment of home guard. The distribution of posts according to rural and urban areas is as follows – 641 posts for men in rural areas and 635 posts for women, while 169-169 posts have been set for both men and women in urban areas. That is, 810 male and 804 female candidates will be appointed in total.
Academic qualification and age limit
Candidates applying for this recruitment must have at least 8th or 10th pass (wait for notifications for exact educational qualification). Talking about the age limit, candidates from 18 years to 40 years can apply for this. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government rules.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of physical test (physical efficiency test), document verification and interview. Physical testing will include activities such as races, high jump, long jump. More information related to the selection process will soon be shared through official notifications.
