There is good news for the candidates looking for jobs in Central Program Management Unit. Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has released the notification of Recruitment 2026 under National AYUSH Mission. Through this recruitment, a total of 20 vacant posts in the Central Program Management Unit i.e. CPMU will be filled on contract basis. The ministry has invited applications from qualified and experienced candidates from across the country. Interested candidates can send their application through post or email. The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as one month from the date of publication of the advertisement.
According to the information released by the Ministry of AYUSH, candidates can send their applications through email to nampmu-ayush@gov.in. Apart from this, the application can also be sent by post to the address of Deputy Director, National AYUSH Mission, Ministry of AYUSH, Room No. 402-B, AYUSH Bhawan, B-Block, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi – 110023. The Ministry has clarified that applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
What is the required qualification?
In this recruitment, different qualifications and experience have been prescribed for different posts. For a post of Senior Program Manager, it is necessary to have PG Diploma or MBA degree. Also, the candidate should have more than 15 years of work experience in the government sector. For eight posts of domain expert related to public health, Master’s degree in Public Health with BAMS, BHMS or equivalent degree has been made mandatory. Apart from this, at least five years of experience in this field is also necessary.
For two posts of Senior Consultant, a bachelor’s degree in AYUSH stream and seven years’ experience in public health programs has been sought. Whereas for four posts of Junior Consultant, bachelor’s degree in AYUSH stream along with five years’ experience in public health programs is required. For the post of Finance Manager, it is mandatory to have MBA Finance, M.Com, CA or ICWA degree and at least five years of experience in the finance sector.
For the post of Account Manager, qualification of MBA Finance, M.Com, CA or ICWA Inter is sought. Three years of experience is required for this post. Whereas for the three posts of Data Assistant, MBA IT, MCA, MSc IT or BCA degree with three years of experience in data or IT field is mandatory.
How much salary will you get?
Talking about salary, the Senior Program Manager will be given a consolidated remuneration of Rs 1 lakh per month. Public health domain expert will get a salary of Rs 75 thousand per month. Senior Consultant will be given Rs 65 thousand and Junior Consultant will be given Rs 60 thousand per month. The finance manager will also get a salary of Rs 60 thousand per month, while the salary for the account manager has been fixed at Rs 50 thousand and for the data assistant, the salary has been fixed at Rs 35 thousand per month.
