A big and good news has emerged for the youth who dream of working in the Reserve Bank of India. The country’s largest and most trusted bank, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced bumper recruitment for the posts of Office Attendant. A total of 572 posts will be filled under this recruitment. The special thing is that only 10th pass qualification has been sought for this recruitment, due to which the path of government jobs has opened for lakhs of youth.
RBI has released the notification of this recruitment on its official website www.rbi.org.in and opportunities.rbi.org.in. The process of online application has started from 15 January 2026 and interested candidates can apply till 4 February 2026. This opportunity is being considered very special for the youth who have been searching for a permanent and respectable government job for a long time.
Where are the vacancies?
RBI has issued this recruitment for its 14 offices located in different cities of the country. These include many big states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Maximum posts have been kept for Kanpur and Lucknow offices of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, a large number of posts are also vacant in cities like Kolkata, New Delhi, Guwahati and Jaipur. Overall, recruitment will be done on 572 posts, which clearly shows that this recruitment is being done on a very large scale.
Who can apply
The biggest feature of this recruitment is that for this only 10th pass is required. The candidate must have completed 10th class from the same state or union territory for which office he/she is applying. The thing to note is that the candidates who are graduate or more educated will not be considered eligible for this recruitment.
Talking about age, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 25 years. Reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation as per government rules. Apart from this, it is also important to have knowledge of the local language of the area for which the application is being made. That means the candidate should be able to read, write and speak that language.
How will the selection be done?
Selection in RBI Office Attendant Recruitment will be done in two phases. There will be a written examination in the first phase. In this exam, easy level questions like General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning will be asked. Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the second stage i.e. language knowledge test. In this it will be seen whether the candidate has correct knowledge of the local language or not.
Salary and facilities
Candidates selected for the post of Office Attendant will get good salary and government facilities. Along with the basic salary, many types of allowances will also be given. Overall, there is a possibility of getting a salary of up to Rs 46 thousand every month.
application fee
The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates has been fixed at Rs 450 plus GST. Whereas the fee for SC, ST, Divyang and Ex-Servicemen candidates has been kept quite low. RBI staff will not have to pay any fee for applying for this recruitment.
