There is good news for the youth who dream of working in the United Nations. The application process for UN’s Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2025 has started. Through this program young professionals can become International Civil Servants in the United Nations Secretariat. The last date to apply is 14 December 2025, so interested and eligible candidates have only a few days left. Those who want to experience working internationally should apply immediately.
YPP is a United Nations initiative that aims to teach youth about the workings of international organizations and global governance. The youth selected in this program get the opportunity for professional development and can gain experience of working in international public service. - Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of the country that participates in the programme.

- Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be more than 32 years.

- Read the eligibility criteria, conditions and exam details prescribed for each job.
- Watch the YPP Application Guidelines video (Parts 1 and 2) and also study the United Nations Applicant Guide available on the Inspira portal.
- All applicants will be subject to eligibility checks, including nationality, age, education and language.
- Fill and submit the application form for eligible candidates.
- Online application is simple, but it is important to complete it by the last date.

To get selected in YPP, candidates have to go through entrance exam and interview. This process usually takes place in several stages. First of all, candidates have to give online exam, which is taken in two stages. Candidates who pass the online exam go to the next stage.
