A big employment opportunity has come for the youth of Bihar. Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has invited applications for the posts of Hostel Manager in the hostels of the state. The Commission has released complete information about this recruitment and the application process has started. Candidates can apply till 10 November 2025. Applications will be accepted only through online mode, for which the candidate will have to go to btsc.bihar.gov.in and fill the form.
Under the recruitment, appointments will be made on a total of 91 posts. Of these, 35 percent posts have been reserved for women. That means this recruitment has brought equal opportunities for women also. The aim of the government is to promote women participation along with employment.
eligibility requirements
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have B.Sc (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) degree. If someone has done Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management after graduation, then he will also be considered eligible. Talking about age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum 37 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit. Age will be calculated as on 1 August 2025.
This much application fee will have to be paid
The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed at Rs 100, which will be equally applicable to all categories of candidates. Fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Application will not be accepted without depositing the fee.
selection process
Candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be 100 multiple choice questions in the exam, in which 2 marks will be given for every correct answer. The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages. In the examination, questions will be asked from subjects related to general knowledge, logical ability and hotel management.
application process
First of all the candidate will have to go to the Commission’s website btsc.pariksha.nic.in. There, go to the “Candidate Registration” section and select the link of the related recruitment. After this click on “Apply” button and do new registration. Fill all the requested information carefully. After completion of registration, login and enter the remaining details. After uploading all the required documents, pay the application fee and submit the form. Now take a printout of it and keep it for future use.
