Opposition’s Vice Presidential candidate B Sudarshan Reddy was in Patna, the capital of Bihar on Thursday (September 04, 2025). RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has announced to support him on behalf of his party. On the other hand Sudarshan Reddy also met RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Lalu Prasad Yadav has shared pictures of his X handle. A total of four different pictures have been posted. In a picture, Lalu Prasad Yadav and B Sudarshan Reddy are seen bowing to each other. While sharing the picture, Lalu Yadav wrote, “Justice B Sudarshan Reddy, the joint candidate of the Vice President, met at Patna residence and went to Kushalaksheme.” It is believed that during the meeting between the two leaders, not only the Vice President’s election but also Bihar If there is an assembly election, then it must have been discussed.
What did Tejashwi Yadav say?
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, “B Sudarshan Reddy is not associated with any political party. He will get the support of all our MPs. I am confident that they will protect the Constitution and democracy and run the House (Rajya Sabha) further. The current time demands that such a person be appointed as Vice President who can protect the constitution and work together.”

Tejashwi Yadav said, “The surprising thing is why this election (Vice Presidential election) is being held? Suddenly we came to know about the poor health of Dhankhar ji through a tweet. The truth only knows three people, 2 from Gujarat and one Dhankhar Saheb. The country wants to know where he is?
Actually, a press conference was organized after B Sudarshan Reddy came to Patna. At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav gave the above statement.
