Judge Yashwant Verma Case: India’s Chief Justice (CJI) Sanjeev Khanna has formed a three -member committee to investigate the allegations of getting cash from the bungalow of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court. Meanwhile, the process of getting burnt notes still continues outside Justice Verma’s house. ABP News has found a 500 burnt note in the corner of Justice Verma’s house.
Burning notes are still available outside Justice Verma’s house
The team of NDMC had come to cleanliness outside the house of Justice Verma on Sunday (23 March 2025), even then he had recovered the burnt notes. Clean worker Surender said that he works with garbage lifting vehicles here and he had received a burnt notes of 500 rupees here for the last 4-5 days. He said, “We have got 500 notes even today.”
Another employee Indrajit said, “We work in this circle. We collect garbage from the roads. We were cleaning here 4-5 days ago and collecting garbage, when we got some small pieces of burnt notes of 500 rupees. We got them on the same day. Now we have got 1-2 pieces. Now we do not know where the fire.

Justice Verma transferred to Allahabad High Court
A big revelation was revealed by a fire in the residential bungalow of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court. A large quantity of cash was allegedly recovered from his house. This incident stirred the judicial corridors. Taking action in this case, the Chief Justice of India called a meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium in which it was decided to transfer Justice Verma to Allahabad High Court.
