The 33 -year -old Jyoti Malhotra runs a YouTube channel named ‘Travel with Joe’. He was arrested by the Haryana Police on 16 May. According to the police, Jyoti came in contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish in the Pakistan High Commission in 2023. After this, he traveled to Pakistan twice. Along with this, he met Danish at Pakistan High Commission several times.
Police said Jyoti Malhotra was in touch with the people associated with Pakistani intelligence agencies and the person who was declared an unwanted person during tension in India-Pakistan. Danish has been sent back by the Government of India.
Jyoti Malhotra’s father says that he was not aware of his daughter’s exploits. She used to talk about going to Delhi only in the house. Harish Malhotra said that he was not even aware of Jyoti going to Pakistan.
