YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, arrested in the espionage case against India, has filed a default Bell application in Hisar Court. In the bail application filed in Hisar Court, Jyoti Malhotra says that the police have not filed a full charge sheet within the prescribed 90 days, due to which it has the right to default bell under Section 187 (2) of BNSS.

In the application, Jyoti Malhotra said, “The accused was arrested at 1:35 pm on 17 May 2025 and has been in custody since then. The 90 -day duration was completed on 15 August 2025, but the police have not yet filed a full charge sheet. ”

Hisar court will hear the case on September 2

It has also been said in the petition that an incomplete charge sheet was presented on 14 August 2025, whose copy was neither given to the accused nor his lawyer. During the court hearing on 29 August 2025, the prosecution also admitted that the investigation has not been completed yet and the final charge sheet has not been filed yet. The Hisar Court will hear the case on 2 September.

Used to share information with Pakistani agents

According to Haryana police sources, in the charge sheet filed by SIT, the police claimed that Jyoti Malhotra was being used as a tool kit for Pakistan. She has been accused that she was sharing information with Pakistani agents and was constantly in touch with her. During his visit to Pakistan, Jyoti came in contact with the agents there.

Jyoti Malhotra was arrested on 16 May

Jyoti Malhotra was in constant touch with Danish Ali posted in the Pak High Commission. The police have also found chats between Jyoti Malhotra and Danish. Jyoti Malhotra used to run a YouTube channel called ‘Travel with Joe’. Jyoti was arrested by the police on 16 May in the espionage case for Pakistan against India.
