Kangana ranaut targets vikramaditya singh: The actress -turned -political leader Kangana Ranaut on Sunday, taking a sarcasm at Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, said that she has still not accepted her defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.
Mandi MP Ranaut attacked Vikramaditya Singh and his mother and state Congress President Pratibha Singh indirectly said that there is competition in politics, but the boundaries should not be crossed. He said that no one should repeatedly throw mud on others nor use abusive language.
Ranaut while talking to reporters in Mandi said that Vikramaditya Singh is not able to accept his defeat in the Lok Sabha elections due to being ‘Raja Babu’. Vikramaditya Singh, son of Virbhadra Singh, a six -time Chief Minister, is a member of the royal family of the previous Rampur princely state.
‘MP could not spend one rupee of fund’
Ranaut said that former MP of Mandi Pratibha Singh and her family ‘rule’ on the region for the last 40 years, but could not spend one rupee of MP funds in the area.
He accused Pratibha Singh that she failed to favor the people of the region even once in the Lok Sabha. Ranaut shared his attitude and challenges for the development of Mandi and said that basic issues like railways, electricity and communication are being raised.
The BJP MP said that the mandi is a huge and diverse geographical area and there is a lot of development potential, but the mandi also has to face challenges like natural disasters. He said that transport and communication facilities in remote areas like Bharmour and Pangi are still not enough. Ranaut said that the construction of tunnels for these areas and roads suitable for all seasons has been demanded for a long time and these issues are being raised in Parliament.
