Vishnu Manchu’s Big Star film Kannappa knocked on theaters on 27 June. Fans were eagerly waiting for this film because it has seen many big stars from Mohanlal to Akshay Kumar. But this film has not been able to meet the expectations of the people. The makers have now decided to release this film on OTT. According to reports, the film is being brought to OTT only 4 weeks after its release.
Which OTT platform will be released
According to the 123 Telugu report, Kannappa is going to be released on prime video on 25 July. No official information has been given by the makers and OTT platform yet. If this report is correct, then the film will come on digital only after a month of release.
Digital platform was not done
Before Kannappa’s OTT release, Vishnu Manchu spoke to the press and gave the reason behind not finalizing the OTT deal before the release of the film. He had said- I have a lot of freedom because my film will not come on OTT before 10 weeks. This is my agreement and by the grace of God, there is no pressure on me to release. My only purpose is to show the best film to audiences.
Talking about Kannappa, it is a mythological film. In which Vishnu Manchu is seen in the lead role. Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Preeti Mukundan, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Shiva Balaji, Kaushal Manda have been seen playing important roles with him. At the same time, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal have a cameo in the film.
Talking about Kannappa’s box office collection, this film has not been able to earn anything special. This film has earned very little in India. The film was able to do business of only 32.93 crores.
