‘Kantara Chapter 1’ reached the theaters on October 2 and as expected, the film captured the box office as soon as it was released. This film has now completed 14 days of release in theaters and its earning figures during this period are surprising. It had recovered its budget long ago and has also earned huge profits.
Talking about the collection of the film, it earned Rs 337.4 crore in the first week. Then on the 9th day its collection was 22.25 crores. It was Rs 39 crore on 10th day, Rs 39.75 crore on 11th day, Rs 13.35 crore on 12th day and Rs 14.15 crore on 13th day.

With this, this film has become the second highest grossing film of the year after Chhaava (615.39 crores). ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is now inches away from making Rs 500 crore.
